My long-term goal is to build a new global order around a culture of responsibility.
I am to do this by unlocking the maximum potential inherent in people to live purposeful & productive lives.
I have committed my professional and academic involvements to this goal. I have studied the belief systems of ancient civilizations that achieved social prosperity; and have worked in technology, consulting, and development sectors globally for 10 years.
I built Kippa to serve businesses with digital accounting and payment tools to grow profitably and sustainably. We worked with 1 million businesses who recorded $3B annually on our app, and raised over $10M from global investors. I was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and won the Future Prize for Technology.
Before Kippa, I lived and worked in Beijing for 2 years. While in China, I led TikTok's entry into Africa, contributing to its growth to become the second most-used platform in Africa with 100M+ users in 5 years.
Before Tiktok, I won the Yenching Scholarship (Chinese Rhodes Scholarship), studying Economics at China's premier university: Peking University. I studied China's model of harnessing its demographic preponderance to generate economic prosperity, and the socio-cultural values that inspired its growth.
I was the #1 ranked competitive debater for two years (2015 – 2017), and have taught and competed at debate tournaments across 52 universities worldwide. My work has been awarded and personally recognized by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England, President Obama's Young African Leaders Fellowship, PM Theresa May, Sir John Major (Former British PM), David Beckham, Caroline Kennedy (JFK's daughter & US Ambassador), and Nile Rodgers.
